L’Oreal ID Artist

I am so excited to announce that I am a 2023 L’Oréal ID Artist! I wanted to do a post explaining what this means and what you can expect from me as I enter this journey with the L’Oréal Pro team…

What is an ID Artist?

Every year L’Oréal Pro opens up a competition to the entire US and gives the opportunity for 7 hairdressers to win a year long mentorship from L’Oréal Professional. To enter I had to complete a video and written application to be reviewed by a panel of judges. Once the program starts I will be doing two day intensive trainings every month over a wide variety of topics (social media, hair coloring, balayage, hair cutting, etc.), have accountability and a network of people to help me with my career and education for the year, and at the end of the program I will travel to the L’Oréal Pro headquarters in LA to do a high end passion project on a hired model that will be photographed at the studio.

What you can expect from me as an ID Artist?

I am using this program as a way to take my career and artistic skills to a new level. I always take continuing education yearly but this program will allow me to gain incredible knowledge every single month. I believe in any artistic career you can should never stop learning. There is always a new level of growth you can experience. I am so excited to elevate my skills and your in salon experience through this journey.
